Went and saw the videos. Garbage. What killed it was taking the time to film while fleeing in fear, and the reactions to incidents felt pretty weak. In the end I didn't understand what was going on because I was distracted by the performance, and actions. It doesn't help at all that in about half the videos the light was being shone all over the place instead of what the camera was shooting, and filming the dark without it providing some knid of assistance (like low light, or heat) makes very little practical sense in any state of mind. My expectation weren't met. If I were supposed to expect a low budget, badly edited, and poorly directed piece of fiction I guess I might have been ok much like little children are told they are making really great drawings of distorted stick figures and swirls. Lower expectations can garner higher praises. The worst thing about having to sit through that is if you had done what you normally do, I would have at least enjoyed some part of it. Going directly to the source is generally never awesome for me. Hearing your voice as you go through them is so much better. Maybe they should hire you so they can put you on their channel if it comes down to who gets the views. Also, I'm pretty slow on this update, but there is more Gravity Falls content. I wonder if you'll be covering it or leaving it to others.

Not gonna lie, the first time i watched this, i fully believed it was a regular, non paranormal stalker all the way up until the key moved on its own. I thought the explanation was that he had dug under her house and was going inside the walls, and thats why there was dirt and mud and a cold spot (from drafts getting in from the hole he dug). When i realized it was supposed to be a ghost or something and not some creep crawling around through tunnels he made in her home to spy on her and eventually kidnap her, i got immediately less scared. Ghosts are one thing, but stalkers are a different kind of scary, especially if they go as far as living in your walls

In the Ten Commandments a lot of people, including myself, believe that “Thou shalt not kill” is a mistranslation of “Thou shalt not murder”, there is such a thing as a justified death and I believe that a child killing their abusive parent to defend themselves is not a sin.

The sound design in this project really bothers me. As in, I feel kind of nauseous from it. Mostly I think it's the buzzing behind most of the project audio.

I like everything about this, but the main character. He’s really not good at acting, which is hard to do when it’s just a voiceover, and your not trying to convey emotions with facial expressions and body language. I never once felt like I cared what happened to him. I want to feel for the characters.

It's interesting that the birdsong matches up rhythmically, but they aren't actually the same notes. It sounds to me like the song in the game is more beckoning because of that higher note. It sounds like when you are trying to get someone's attention, like a "yoo-hoo!" in a way that the one in the woods did not. I wonder if that was intended. It seems like such a tiny thing, but it really makes me think of the game calling him in.

I don't usually disagree much with Nick, but holy cow do I disagree that Lawrence "doesn't sound acted". Even if it's supposed to be because he's reading from a script in-universe, he sounds so incredibly like he is trying to act the whole time that it winds up being distracting or taking you out of the moment for portions. I also wouldn't generally think that reading a note to someone you know would sound so acted, for it to be purposeful. I'd think you would just read it out like you were talking to that person, so it seems less likely that it would be a conscious character choice and more likely that he simply does need a little work to sound more natural and less acted. Which isn't a bad thing, rarely are people instantly natural actors. I have every faith that he can get to that point, he just isn't nearly as mind-blowing as Nick makes him out to be, so it's interesting that he does so.
